Honoring Nature Poem

Here is a nature appreciation poem and activity that is especially popular in Helen’s kindergarten class.

Bow To Mother Nature Poem
I bow to mother nature
I lift to father sky
I open to the sun and the clouds going by
I welcome the rain that flows to the sea
I honor the kindness in you and me!

Use the poem as a circle time activity and let the students create hand movements to go with each line. Or create your own motions and teach them to the children.
